J Hannah - Nail Polish Compost

Think of:
Compost Organic Drab
Baroque Mulch

In loving homage to the ugliest colour in the world.

Compost is obscurely ochre, olive, umber, murky, mulch, baroque swamp water. And yet, not of these things.

J Hannah's nail polishes are inspired by artists' palettes, natural elements, and muses who we envision channeling specific colours or moods.

In this case, for instance: the image Botanical White Orchid from the series 'Flowers' by Irving Penn and the book 'Art in Needlework: A Book about Embroidery' by Mary Bucle and Lewis F. Day, Charles Scribner's Sons, NY, 1900

J Hannah's polishes is a line of carefully edited high quality polishes for the color resistant. Polishes that consider the gracefulness of hands, and the role of subtle color as an element in the considered wardrobe. All polishes are non-toxic, cruelty-free and made in the USA.
